The American Volunteer Group was able to see over the horizon and understand we would be a war with Japan. They allowed the Chinese to buy aircraft and hire American pilots to fly against the Japanese Army from 1940 to 1941. They weren’t Army or Navy pilots.
There was no “us getting involved.”
They were mercenaries working for Chang Kai Chek. I know about them. The Ukrainians are not the 1940s Chinese. They are fascists. The Russians aren’t much better. They are the same people. Like NY to NJ. Let them fight it out.
