For several other reasons as well. There is much higher chance of a fender bender when you jockey for position at the front of the lot near the entrance. Even if you are able to get a prime spot, backing out of that slot is a nightmare as you have cars and pedestrians constantly behind you that you have to watch out for. Plus, you will get more than your share of door dings, as other cars squeeze in next to you, with not enough room to fully open their door without it tapping into your car.
Way less stressful to park in the outer reaches of the lot, you can pull in and pull out with minimal hassle.
Also, to your point, I always find it humorous that people will fight so hard for a parking spot near the doors of a shopping mall, only to end up walking two miles once inside of it.
I think I'm going to do my next essay on that subject.
Well, that’s a crappy way to die.
Same here. A co-worker’s son was coming home from college for Christmas break. A van on the other side of the interstate came across the median and hit him head-on, killing him.
Worrying is the leading cause of death. Look it up😟
I,had to drive through some, canyon areas awhile, back and the walls were so steep, youmhad to stick your head out the window and look up by cranking your neck to see. It was nerve wracking thinking about Rock slides and such- not something I’d like,to drive through daily
“Lord, give me a sign!”
I think you won the thread.
Sad story but very funny post.
At least, mercifully, she died quickly and not knowing what was going on.
I wonder if the brain has enough time to register anything while the roof is just starting to get crushed. “What’s that noise? Why is the roof caving in? Why is the car moving? What do I do?” Then it’s lights out.
I am guessing she ordered the Grand Slam breakfast?
(Just kidding - that poor woman)
With the Head East album playing in the background.

I live about 45 minutes from eTown and was riding my motorcycle yesterday about 1:00. It was sunny for a while and the wind wasn’t horrible. About 1:30 the wind started picking up a lot and I had to ride home at 30 miles an hour to stay upright
didn’t even have to go inside to get her eggs scrambled...
Sounds like something out of “Final Destination”.
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. As the days of Noah were, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. —Matthew 24:36-42
“Have you been injured???” TV-ad lawyers from across America will be descending on the family shortly.
Yes, here in Florida, as well!
Lady stopped to have a light breakfast.
