A friend of mine worked with the wife of a guy who was an NFL long snapper. The dude hung a tire from a tree in the back yard and would spend hours every day during the offseason snapping footballs back through it.
It's a harder job than it may seem to a layperson. It's not easy to snap the ball 8 or 15 yards back through your legs and have it reach the holder or punter's hands with the laces up every time you do it.
