Gallery owner who hosed down distraught homeless woman sitting outside his upmarket business in San Francisco is ARRESTED for battery

A business owner who went viral after he was filmed spraying down a homeless woman with a hose in front of his San Francisco store has been arrested for battery, hours after the city's DA said he would face charges for the widely seen incident.

Collier Gwin, the owner of Foster Gwin art gallery, is currently being held on the misdemeanor charge stemming from the January 9 altercation, police said Wednesday following his arrest.

Earlier in the day, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office issued a statement announcing that a warrant for Gwin's arrest had been issued, following pronounced public outcry over the footage, which was filmed on a day where temperatures hit 49 degrees.

The video posted on social media spurred sleuths to search for and successfully identify the gallery owner, and served as enough evidence to charge Gwin, officials said following his arrest Wednesday evening.

If convicted for the offense, Gwin could face up to six months in county jail - as well as a $2,000 fine.

It made sf look bad in a viral video.

No doubt the paymasters told sfpd to do something about it.

So the homeless person can do whatever they want and harass others but don’t dare try to stop them, else those wonderful people in blue will arrest you.

This is the crazy society leftists want for us. All the while, Alex Baldwin can murder someone and nothing happens to him.

I can tell you what the guy did wrong. He used a garden hose. He should have done what Planned Parenthood always did to pro lifers and that is turn on a sprinkler system that he installed sometime before this. So every time he sees them out there for too long he just turns it on “oh I’m just watering the grass”. Never mind there is no grass in front of his store.

“Gwin told the San Fransisco Chronicle that the woman, identified as “Cora,” had been behaving belligerently just before he turned the hose on her. He claimed she turned his trashcans upside down, was spitting on him and verbally berating him.

Despite her frequently hostile behavior, Gwin said he had a soft spot for the woman and had let her sleep in the entryway of his gallery for multiple days. He had called social services and police in an effort to get her help, but found they let her back after several days and she returned.

Since the hosing video went viral, authorities said Gwin’s gallery has been vandalized.”

In brasil they’d just hire the police to “permanently remove them”. Happened all of the time in the early 90’s. Then when the earth conference came up, they moved them out of the city. If they came back, they were fertilizer.

They want to throw the book at this business owner while they ignore thousands of felonies committed in San Francisco.

The message is very clear: Get out of SF and CA as soon as is humanly possible. Rational, civilized people have no business remaining in that state.

I love it when they eat their own. I hope this snowballs. This is what they voted for, isn’t it. Leftist, Jackboot, Stormtrooper politics always comes back to kill them and we are only ones smart enough to fight against it because we know how it turns out. Too bad, so sad, San Franciscan art gallery owner. If you can show that you didn’t vote for liberal policies your entire life, I apologize and hope you and you lawyers whoop some a$$ in court. If my suspicions are correct though - Simpson’s “HAHA” to you.

I don’t agree. Those people weren’t homeless in those photos.

Kind of like feeding bears the more you give them the more they want.

Then when you stop they get angry and tend to turn mean.

Maybe if the sidewalk wasn’t a “designated toilet” owners wouldn’t have to get upset - he wanted to clean in front of his place and she refused to move.

It might take longer, but if he had provided the homeless woman with a blanket infected with smallpox, the desired result could have been achieved. Dress like an Antifa, get the blanket cheap at Goodwill, and you’re on your way. Worked for the dems 150 years ago, didn’t it?
