US hegemony is always at risk, especially if there is a counterweight of a strong, independent, non-globalist Russia sitting within Europe.

Thus it needed to be boxed in, and ideally “color-revolutionized.” That’s the long-term goal

If not, it would pull Europe, particularly Germany and everything east, away from NATO/US orbit.

I mean, you say that, but nobody in Central or Eastern Europe besides Serbia and Belarus have any interest in getting closer to Russia. Quite the opposite in fact. Russia’s circle of friends is basically the same gang of thugs they were hanging out with 50 years ago, except that sometimes Brazil floats a little closer to them during times when the commies are in charge of the government.

What rot.

Every place east of Germany, up to the borders of Russia, is fiercely pro USA.

Poland, the Baltics, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania are all pro USA and heavily wanted and want to be in NATO.

None of them want to be in any alliance with Russia
