Costco sometimes carries a jar of Artichokes that is very difficult to open. Complaints show up in the reviews. I tried all the tricks and could not get it open. I ordered a thing from Amazon that tucks under the lid and pops the seal.

Unfortunately, it only works on certain size lids. Doesn’t work on diet coke bottle lids...but a small pry bar does work on them.

That problem is why I have a spare pair of 12" water pump pliers in the junk drawer...one size fits all.
