My family lived in McNairy County, Tennessee for six generations and made whiskey. Only in 1960 did a sheriff that wasn't paid off by my family arrest my grandfather and he and a cousin went to jail for a year for the “crime”. Hence our family were staunch supporters of Buford Pusser...at least he was fair. Another branch of my family makes a fine whiskey at Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee.

My family lived in a ‘dry county’ in north Mississippi, not far from the Tennessee line.
They were probably your family’s customers.................😉
