I’ve never really understood that song, but I’ve always like the sounds of it. That steady beat, the jingle-jangle percussion. I’m guessing John used a lot of instruments they learned about while in India.

If this was about their manager Brian Epstein, then this is John Lennon’s equivalent of the later tune by
Joni Mitchell: ‘Free Man In Paris’. That was written about her manager, the Uber-Rich David Geffen.

Ha, I’ve never understood the attraction to any Beatles music. Same for my wife, and especially in this case, because any high pitched voice coming from a male singer is not to be listened to at all.
