Was Martin Luther ever Sainted by the Catholic Church?

No.

The Inter-Lutheran Commission on Worship placed MLK in the calendar of Commemorations on January 15 under the category "Renewer of Society" which was newly created for the 1978 Lutheran Book of Worship.

Not enough Lutherans know that, when King was born, his name was Michael King and that, when he was 5, he and his dad changed their names to Martin Luther King, Sr. and Martin Luther King, Jr. I hope some Lutheran pastors mentioned that trivia, during services, last Sun.
