Masculine male characters seem to be a dying breed in modern movies. Why? Well, I've got a few ideas...
Netflix and Prime prompt me to ‘Continue Watching’.
My wife knows that blue line they show is when they introduced some homos.
My best friend and I see a lot of movies together, and some happen to be Marvel superheroes. We do not buy the comics or trade action figures. We like Fast and Furious and war movies as well or better than Marvel heroes. Are we suspect to you?
Sorry but I associate those characters with pre-puberty boys. Maybe you enjoy them as an adult, and you probably play video games as well, but most of the rest of us grew up.
all scientists are black males, all heroes are white women, all morons or criminals are white men, anyone super rich is a black woman, and couples are now always black woman white man that used to be all white women black men which was early 2000’s woke trend.
Basically most movies are pushing the opposite of real life and they fail because of it.
OH! and I forgot that any public display of affection is nearly always between loving gays in a perfect relationship!
I haven’t been to the movies in at least a decade. I have no interest in watching leftist pieces of schiff. I don’t like women in lead roles and I have zero interest in watching minority degenerates. Their loss, not mine.

Just caught a comment in the Drinker’s monologue: the writers lack the life experience to write believable masculine characters. That’s profound: the characters are pusillanimous pansies because THE WRITERS are pusillanimous pansies.

1) As a movie it was actually good, and far better than I had feared it would be.
2) The last thing I did with my Dad was get him out of the house to see that film. He really enjoyed it, and we had a fine time together. A week later, we buried him. RIP. It will always be a good reminder of a good man.

I like going to good movies but I hardly ever go because they’re not very good.
Last summer I went and saw “Top Gun: Maverick” FIVE times. Loved every minute of it.
Hail the Drinker! Sláinte! Here comes Mr. (Will) Jordan with yet another spot-on take. The cinematic male emasculation I hope has reached its nadir. Hollywood losing nearly half of its theatre audience due to woke/intersectional feminist tripe and hemorrhaging money is enough momentum to swing the pendulum in the opposite direction. I look forward to the return of red-blooded, kick-ass, rugged individualistic with relish — and vengeance.

Yep. Like how in the recent Star Wars movies the relationships between the characters were ruined, divorce, etc. This is because the writers and directors are amoral hacks who can’t hold a relationship together themselves. And can’t stand the thought of anyone else doing so.
