To: Red Badger

Bought a Ghost pepper plant from a local Home Depot or Lowes. Full of fruit and hot. One more sparse crop and then the poor thing withered and gave up.

Tried to read up on growing peppers but got nowhere. Had them on our lanai (patio) with only a bit of afternoon sun. Hawaii climate, so I figured they would grow like crazy. But no.

Bugs or nutrients, certainly not cold?

To keep a pepper plant alive you must keep picking the fruits and never let it go to seed. Some live longer than others.

We had a bell pepper plant that stayed alive and fruited for three years before a cold snap got it................
