There was a story not too recently where some idiot tried to take copper from an active charging station. The amount of voltage going through those things is substantial. If they don’t know what they’re doing, it’s lights out pretty damn quick.

It’s an old story. About 40 years ago, thieves smashed our brand new car’s dashboard to bits to yank out the stereo unit that they probably sold for $5 or $10. The repair cost was $1,500 back in 1983.
For once, there is a criminal action that I CAN SUPPORT, as this action improves society.
There are old copper thieves and there are bold copper thieves, but there are no old bold copper thieves.
