What is the real reason behind Biden-Gate? Could it be that…
1. The Trump raid was a preemptive move to dilute Biden’s document fiasco, and a way to not prosecute either one.
2. The FBI raided Trump to find other documents not classified. It was a way to slow him down and an effort to find something to put him in jail.
3. Trump’s raid was a democrat talking point for supporters before this past midterm election, and a diversion to seal the steal in many elections across the country.
4. The Trump raid was a way to set precedent and a way for democrats to get rid of politicians they don’t like.
5. The Biden documents were planted to knock Biden out and install someone else (Harris, Newsome, Big Mike).
6. It’s a way to prosecute both Biden and Trump and prevent them both from running in 2024?
7. The DOJ and FBI knew the Biden classified documents would be found to be missing from the National Archives. Investigations would have had to be launched after the 2022 midterms.
8. It’s real and a deliberate misdirection from the very thing the democrats are accusing others of doing.
9. This is a false flag of worser crimes to come, like Biden’s pro quo with Ukraine, China, etc.
10. Trump and “white hats” set up his raid to do some type of handoff of documents related to crimes on others.

We have a Benedict Biden and no one takes it seriously until it is too late and the country is lost beyond survival. It is incomprehensible that the FBI is sitting on its hands in Biden’s case while it was eager to ransack the Trump home.
Yes. I said right away this explains the Maralago raid. They did this to say everyone does it. This is why we are confused as hell on how this is an issue. And Trump too. They knew this info on Biden existed.
Remember Democrats always do what they accuse everyone else of doing.

I think it’s all created to keep Americans from revolting.
We keep believe our government is going to police itself.
The real key to the motivation for the Biden revelations will come if (when?) we see some strategy for getting rid of Harris, as she is such a moron that it would take super-sized levels of cheating to get her worthless butt elected to the White House (although it would be a trivial effort to manipulate her if that did happen).
I expect the powers-that-be figure Biden will crap the bed if he runs in 2024, and if they can move Harris out and some slime-ball like Newsom in, they can use the Biden papers to convince him to bail on reelection, or to force him out by impeachment if he won’t leave voluntarily.
I think that the raid on President Trump was simply a power play - I can do this and you can’t, so let’s see what we can dig up. It pretty much failed, just like all the other Acme ideas.
With Biden, I think the rats have realized that it’s time to put the old perv out to pasture. Heels Up Harris will be the “historic” first female president. But even they realize that she is more of a liability than The Big Guy, so a rat up-and-comer will be named her VP - probably Gruesome Newsome. Then some incident will occur and Newsome will be president, so he can run as an incumbent in 24.

Keep this point in mind, that few are mentioning:
- Biden can’t be indicted or prosecuted while President, only impeached
Therefore, this is very possibly only about optics. Attempting to give the impression Biden is under some legal heat, when he’s really not under much at all, being President. In the case of Biden, all the special counsel can do is release a report.
But to make it seem fair, with regard to the special counsel investigating Trump. Who isn’t President anymore, and can be indicted.

I don't think so. The raid on Mar-a-Lago was on August 8, 2022. If we are to believe the reporting on Biden's documents, they were "found" on November 2, 2022. I don't think the two are connected. My reasoning is found in other answers below.

No on the first point, yes on the second point. I don't think they foresaw President Trump pushing for a Special Master, which actually slowed down the FBI. They did take his passport for awhile, but had to give it back. Maybe they were looking for tax filings, maybe not, but the House got those anyway.

Perhaps, but I think it backfired on them. It convinced many Americans that the FBI and Merrick Garland are not operating in the interests of Americans, but have become politicized out-of-control bureaucracies weaponized by the Democrats against their enemies.

I'm not sure. Yes, the DoJ has been raiding political people before (Roger Stone, James O'Keefe, Henry Cuellar, James Gordon Meek, Mark Houck, Jeffrey Clark, and more) so the Mar-a-Lago raid was not precedent-setting in that sense. It was precedent for raiding the home of a former President, which definitely upped the ante on what's proper procedure or not.
5. The Biden documents were planted to knock Biden out and install someone else (Harris, Newsome, Big Mike).
Conspiracy theory. Occam's razor would suggest that Biden took them, and at some point they were move to his home.

No. There has been a long-standing policy at the DoJ that sitting presidents cannot be indicted while in office. What this does, however, is give Merrick Garland legal cover to indict President Trump and not indict Biden for the same thing.

It's possible. If so, it would make Merrick Garland a truly Machiavellian bureaucrat. Right now, he's seen as a spurned Supreme Court nominee who went bitterly mad with power to punish the people who stole his appointment from him. If he's actually conspiring to take down his own side's president, to me that would rate Garland in the megalomaniac super-villain category, out for blood-vengeance against everyone.

It is real, and I think that the Democrats are actually in shock right now. I think they are stunned at how fast Biden's assurances have fallen apart, and how clumsily his administration (read: Karine Jean-Pierre) is dealing with it. I think they don't know how to move forward given their past statements about President Trump and Mar-a-Lago and the remarks that Biden himself made about Trump and his own publicly stated "respect" for classified materials.

I don't think it's a false-flag, I think it's Biden's past catching up with him. Right now, it's like watching an episode of Columbo; we know Biden did it, we're now watching Columbo figure it all out. Biden probably took the documents in 2017 because he knew they incriminated him in getting the Ukraine General Prosecutor who was investigating Hunter fired. He probably also took Iran Deal documents and Steele Dossier documents. Now we get to enjoy watching Columbo put all the pieces together.

I doubt it. President Trump is possibly the most-watched person in America right now. If people loyal to Trump set this up, I don't think we'd be seeing Biden's personal lawyers having two months to review the documents before the news was made public. The "white hats" would have leaked the story to the LAAP-dog media right away before the mid-term elections.

Definitely true. The FBI raided Mar-a-Lago to feed information to the J6 committee for prime-time coverage. The fact that it fizzled should be exculpatory for President Trump.

With Soledar now liberated, and Bakhmut about to be liberated, the Neocons DESPERATELY want US troops to enter the fight in Ukraine, since the war will otherwise be lost, and Biden simply WILL NOT permit it.
So, get Biden out of the way and replace him with Airhead.

Yep. And I agree with the premise of the article, which is that conservatives are SO STUPID that they would actually think that the media and Democrats would be acting in a moral way.
Embarrassing to have these loser on ‘our side’, but what choice do we have?
There could be other reasons as well, such as distracting the widening of the war in Ukraine.
But we are in agreement that it is a distraction from something.
