War for Ukraine - First Conclusions from 2022 and New Challenges 2023 VIDEO
YouTube ^ | 1/13/2022 | Col. Markus Reisner

Posted on 01/15/2023 7:19:24 AM PST by Phoenix8

Colonel Markus Reisner on the War for Ukraine. He takes a look at the first lessons identified and the challenges we might see in the weeks and months to come.

TOPICS: Military/Veterans; Society
KEYWORDS: russia; ukraine; war
He has the best analysis, with seemingly less propaganda and spin than anyone else. Sadly these English presentations are uncommon.

Complete garbage. Russia has been kicking ass while protecting its personnel and limiting civilian casualties. Ukraine has wasted billions in equipment and tens of thousands of personnel for nothing more then PR advantages, nothing strategic about that. Not to mention Ukraine’s use of civilian building to place weapon systems and use of human shields in the cities. Russia will complete it’s work later this year and it will be obvious that the only thing that kept Ukraine in the fight was corruption.

Heaven forbid that Ukraine actually defends its own territory, cities, and towns against Russian attacks.

I’m trying to look past the BS from both sides.
To be honest if Ukraine really was nothing more than a sordid front for Western corruption why hasnt Russia conquered them yet? I mean I’ve watched Alex Mercouris A LOT since this began but lately I’ve been losing faith in him—-Russia’s big offensive is always “a few weeks away”. It’s been a few weeks for many months. (same II have to admit with McGregor..my patience with him is starting to expire—he is also another one always saying Russia victory is in a few more weeks)

Same with Steve Bannon-just done with him. My final straw was his promises of a red tidal wave and an Hispanic awakening in the Rio Grande Valley. It was a Red Whimper or Ripple better yet. Much less to mention how Trump was going to be reinstalled and all this conclusive proof would come to light of the 2020 steal. Just BS talk.

On the Other hand I agree Russia has been wrongly portrayed or perhaps overly maligned by the same fake news media that smeared Trump for 5 years. Russia does have a legit beef with the Eastern provinces of Ukraine…not sure how that gave Putin the green light to launch an all out attack to conquer the entire country.

Reisner reviews some of the statistically obvious events of the conflict with extra emphasis on Ukrainian accomplishments.

However he torpedoes his objective credibility with the claim that Social Media is entirely dominated by Russian "Propaganda" and Propagandists.

What remains is a disguised plea for loads more tanks, armored vehicles, HIMARS, precision special purpose missiles, and Patriot systems.

I suspect it IS possible to fight this war to the Last Ukrainian.

War is Bad—evil and horrible. NOT something to do unless forced. Never a first choice. It looks like it will be clear that this must be settled at a peace table. We have only three choices 1. Let Russia crush Ukraine and make peace on their terms. Putin will expend any number of people to crush Ukraine. They do not have an anti-war core like we in the west. or 2. Go to the peace table and make a deal now, the best deal possible, or lastly—Number 3. A major land war in Europe—How many NATO nations will take part>? What if it spirals out of shape and expands to other continents? Can we fight in South America? Africa? Asia? North America? I could see battlefields in Alaska, Brazil, Vietnam, Taiwan, Serbia, The Sudan, Congo? and the North Sea. WE DO NOT WANT THIS!

I liked his reviews early on even though they were rather biased, nowadays Reisner is basing his assumption on propaganda he knows is false.

“Russia has been kicking ass while protecting its personnel and limiting civilian casualties.”

Priceless.

It took you nearly a year to figure that out ?
