A Texas elementary school teacher who was found dead in her backyard reportedly met her alleged killer on a dating app just a week before she was shot to death, it was revealed on Friday.

Wendy Duan’s boyfriend Charvas Thompson was arrested Wednesday in Louisiana, over 260 miles from where he allegedly shot her multiple times in her Sugar Land backyard last week.

The two had only been dating for a week before Thompson took Duan’s life, the victim’s mother, who did want to be identified, told KHOU 11.

They had met on the “MeetMe” dating app, which made Duan’s mother uncomfortable.

The distraught mother said she had a bad feeling about Thompson and warned Duan about the danger of meeting a stranger online.

“She showed me the picture,” Duan’s mother said. “I don’t know his name. She just saying, ‘Do you like him?’ I said ‘no.'”

Despite her strong intuition, Duan’s mother never imagined her daughter would end up dead.

“It’s unbelievable,” she said.

“The guy is very evil. He took her life away. I hope this guy gets the full legal punishment.”

Duan was a third-grade language arts teacher with the Alief Independent School District and was named English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher of the Year in December 2021.

There is zero reason a woman wanting an actual monogamous relationship would EVER need a dating app. The homeliest fattest woman can go just about anywhere and have men approach her. Dating apps are evil. I am glad I learned social skills before all this crap was invented.

Not because I left, because it actually was a “mostly peaceful” protest. But a prudent move for anyone when a questionable situation arises is to vacate that area. I want to keep my streak going of never having had to pull my firearm on anyone.

I have done similar things in a restaurant. I was taking my family to lunch at a famous touristy local seafood place. I walked in to get a reservation and the noise and mayhem was deafening all from one section with “diverse” diners. Screaming, yelling, harassing the wait staff, little kids running around. I turned right out and said we aren’t eating here even when my mom said, “but there is a table right over there.”

Daddy told me to look for a church going woman. So I did. What a completely insane disaster that turned out to be.

Church is where to find

(A) Godly women, or

(B) Sociopaths who pretend to be godly, while looking for suckers, or

(C) Party girls who have aged out of their party stage, have one or more kids, and now want to find a godly man to take care of them (often hard to distinguish from (b))

You will also find pastors who have decided that the financial viability of their operation depends on pimping the single moms of their congregation.
