UGA is the most pampered dog in all of Georgia ...

PETA is nothing more than a publicity hound ...

Dogs like to be where the people are.

So the PETA group would rather the dog be locked in a cage at home or put in a kennel while the humans all went to the big game?

What sickos.

Oh hell no! They can leave our UGA mascot alone! Georgia fans would not put up with getting rid of the tradition and if the athletic department kow-tows to such foolishness, they can expect an immediate back-lash by the fans.

If I recall correctly, the UGA mascot has been voted the favorite by college football fans for several years in a row. The tradition of having the bulldog on the field for pictures before each game is something that many parents have enjoyed as they lined their children up for the opportunity to get that snapshot that is destined to be framed and put in a place of honor. The history of the family that has supplied the bulldogs over the years, is interesting in itself and makes for a good read.

So again I, along with the majority of other Dawg fans, say stay away PETA, we don’t want you here!

PETA’s moronic vision for the world is outdated.

UGA. The dog’s name is Uga. Pronounced “Ugg-ah”. You as a Gator should know that.

“If I had a say, I would get one that didn’t sleep through games.”

English Bulldogs have a very short life span ... sadly enough, UGA X is on her last legs ... the championship broadcast showed the cute little puppy waiting in the wings to take over as UGA XI ...

I lived in Savannah 20 years ago when it was UGA 6 or 7 (I think), owned by Sonny Seiler, a prominent lawyer and UGA grad. His firm offices were near a park in downtown Savannah and you would often see him (or someone from the firm) walking the dog. I think they (Sonny and UGA [n]) made a cameo in the film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, walking the dog in that location.

Let me just say that that is the luckiest dog in the universe and is exceptionally well cared for. PETA picked the absolute wrong example.

But PETA has no problem using a deformed dog like Tracy Reiman!

Oooow burn! Now you wouldn’t be calling out a bitch for being a bitch, ( dog ), would you? Not very Southern of you.
Bless her heart.

Being a liberal is entirely motivated by the vague suspicion that someone, somewhere, is having a good time.

it was Keven Spacy walking UGA in the movie ... John Cusack, the hot shot reporter from NYC, didn’t believe Spacey when Spacey told him that the dog he was walking was the most famous dog in all of Georgia ...
