LOL, even still...the concept is the same.
I do have occasions where I give a tip when I am getting takeout. There is a Chinese food place I have been going for years, and they make an unbelievably good Traditional Chicken with peanuts, hot red peppers, water chestnuts, garlic, and ginger in some kind of brown sauce. I ask for extra spicy, with no scallions.
When I order it through this one guy, he knows exactly how to get it made for me. It always comes out right.
When he isn’t there, and I have to try to order it with someone else, no matter how I try to describe it, I always get Kung Pao chicken, which I like, but is a completely different dish. (the one I order is called “traditional” kung pao chicken, but all I ever get is...regular kung pao chicken.
I always tip that guy, give him five bucks in cash. Always, even if the entree is just mine and costs $15. Because it is damn well worth it!
I gave up trying to order from other people. I ask for him, and if he isn’t there...I simply don’t get food there.
