My sister-in-law was pushed down the stairs by one of her students. She was advised not to make a police report. She did and the case was tried in court. The student received a short probation and a transfer to another school where he went on to terrorize other students and teachers.
Whoa, if that was my sister, no exaggeration, that punk would lose the ability to walk and I would-not-give-one rats ass about going to jail. Pushing her down the stairs is attempted murder and he gets probation? Oh forgeeeeet it!!! I would go bananas!
The principal, school board members, and the judge should be removed from their offices, tried, convicted, and publicly flogged for their failures in dealing with this criminal student.
Africans and Central Americans belong precisely there…
The Balkanization of the US is deliberate and it’s the kill shot.
Soon we’re going to be North Brazil.
The police report is necessary not only to facilitate a criminal case against the student, but to support a civil lawsuit and/or a disability claim for the teacher. If I was the victim in that scenario I’d see it as a great opportunity for an early retirement package and a permanent disability settlement even if I had just minor injuries.
