George is still my favorite Beatle.
I Feel Fine
Song by The Beatles
Baby’s good to me, you know
She’s happy as can be, you know
She said so
I’m in love with her and I feel fine
Baby says she’s mine, you know
She tells me all the time, you know
She said so
I’m in love with her and I feel fine
I’m so glad that she’s my little girl (ooh-ooh)
She’s so glad she’s telling all the world (ooh-ooh)
That her baby buys her things, you know
He buys her diamond rings, you know
She said so
She’s in love with me and I feel fine
Baby says she’s mine, you know
She tells me all the time, you know
She said so
I’m in love with her and I feel fine
I’m so glad that she’s my little girl (ooh-ooh)
She’s so glad she’s telling all the world (ooh-ooh)
That her baby buys her things, you know
He buys her diamond rings, you know
She said so
She’s in love with me and I feel fine
She’s in love with me and I feel fine
I don’t think George got punched around at all. I think the Beatles deliberately and consciously supported each other. If there was any competition, it was between John and Paul..
John’s voice was in top form in this period. This song like Ticket to Ride is a great example of how great a lead singer he was...
Fun trivia: this is song is generally considered to have the first instance of recorded feedback.
Poor George?!?
Ringo doesn’t even get to be there until the song is already well underway.
I remember watching this along with many other very grainy similar promotional films in the video room at Beatle Fest (as it was called then) in Chicago in the early 1980s. When it was almost impossible to see actual moving images of the Beatles anywhere.
Ringo is on the workout bike ;-)
I think George screwed up the lip sync at the beginning he laughs !
Thanks for those lyrics. Somewhat repetitive, but only because they were so good.
One of my favorites, of many.
the beetles are overrated and they sucked.
I still think the Beatles sang the best harmonies, and George is the greatest harmony vocalist of all time.
It was an accident caused by Lennon leaning his guitar against Paul's amp.
