Venus rotates very slowly retrograde (it is tilted at 177.4 degrees) and its synodic day (from sunrise to sunrise) is 116.75 days. It is in the same position relative to the earth every 584 days—which is 5 times its synodic day. So it looks like the earth has an influence on Venus’ rotation.
