Well, my name's Dewey Oxburger. My friends call me Ox. I don't know if you've noticed, but I got a slight weight problem. My doctor said I swallowed a lot of aggression, along with a lot of pizza... you gotta 6, 8 week training program? Which is perfect for me.

Never noticed Ziskey giving that look of love towards Oxberger. What’s up with that?

A friend of mine says that USAF is releasing their updated Body Composition Program, aka “Fat Boy Program” on 13 Jan 2023 and it will take effect 1 April 2023.
See any irony with those days??

Yep. Google “McNamara’s morons” and read about doing this in the Vietnam era.
To: Olog-hai
Is this before or after they take the Oath? I might have missed it. And who assigns the fatties to the program? Recruiters or some new Pre-camp Boot Camp board of advisors?
If the Army and other branches would just stop with the WOKE crap, they would probably increase their recruiting goals. Still, GEN Z are a bunch of over-indulged panzies. I call them the Weakest Generation.

Fatbody platoon. Merciless. We used to watch them working out and the DI’s loom over them at the mess hall.

Do male soldiers in the new U.S. Army deduct the weight of their breast implants from the calculations for their fitness standard?

I would like to know where and at what DFAC this image was taken. My guess- Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. The world’s largest most proficient chow hall is located there, serving up to 28,000 meals a day. 7,000 meals each, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight rations.
Both subject’s expressions are golden!
Back in the day... when running cadence and in passing an obviously overweight person, that person would be referred to as “heavy drop”. Airborne rigger-slang for heavy air loads dropped from the sky.
In 1983, I went to a basic leadership school and got rejected for being overweight based on some antiquated height weight chart. I had just run 2 miles in 10:35, for my most recent PT test so I was no slouch. I am built like an archetype middle linebacker. It didn’t matter one iota, since the chart said emphatically, that I was a fatty. The weight limit for my height (5’ -11”) was 198lbs. I think I weighed 207lbs. I was sent to the back of the room with all the other rejects. One rejected guy looked like a human fireplug.
My First Sargent sent me to an Army doctor to get a pinch test and my abdominal fat equated into a low percentage and the doctor adjusted my maximum allowable weight to 220lbs. Unfortunately, the effort was too late as the cow had already left the barn as I had lost my slot.

If the censors for MS Edge are any clue, they've already written the new regs to prevent drill sergeants from making green fatbody recruits cry.

Weight can be fixed. The Army did a damn good job of taking me down to 165 pounds (at 6 feet tall) during BCT.OK...give recruits some kind of pre BCT weight program.
However,IQ cannot be fixed.
To: 17th Miss Regt
In 1969 we had a guy in our BCT platoon who *absolutely* didn't belong in the Armed Forces. He had that classic Down's Syndrome face...and intellect. The drill sergeants rode him exactly like GySgt Hartman rode Private Pyle. But he put up with it until the day before graduation...when he disappeared. I heard that he went AWOL. I just hope they found him and gave him an honorable discharge...or said “OK,never mind...you can just go home”. IOW,I hope he wasn't punished in any way.
