“ These laws don’t provide equal justice or keep us safe,” adds HIV advocate Robert Suttle in the TV spot. “Instead, they reinforce an environment of fear, blame and stigmatization, encouraging those unaware of their status to avoid testing and robbing those living with HIV of their dignity to access treatment free of discrimination.”
De Shields ends the commercial on a forceful note: “Everyone deserves to be treated fairly under the law. HIV is not a crime.”

Don’t think it’s hiv that’s the problem. It’s the propensity of the afflicted to spread it to others with no qualms that is the problem. Liberal progressives are all about attempting to jail those who refuse the clotshot but are perfectly ok with sexual deviants spreading something far more deadly that a glorified flu. Gotta wonder.

HIV is a problem for all of us taxpayers because nobody with HIV pays the full cost of their meds which run in the 5-figures$$ per month!

It sounds like there might be a nation-wide wave of HIV-related lynchings. I don’t know how many poor bastards the hate-filled Republican mobs have killed at this point, but perhaps this Public Service Announcement can help stop the violent domestic terrorists from carrying out more Trump-inspired atrocities.
And it is going to cost us even more!! Especially since they are now allowing open gays into the military!!
ANY DISEASE they get while in service is now a “service-related” illness, meaning they will get VA medical and lifelong disability payments for getting HIV!

Knowingly exposing others to HIV without disclosing your status is no longer a felony in California—which is being heralded as a victory for sex workers’ rights activists and LGBTQ organizations for easing the stigma in being HIV-positive.
Senate Bill 239 was signed by Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Friday, after it was passed early last month. Starting Jan. 1, 2018, exposing another person to HIV without their knowledge or consent is a misdemeanor crime punishable by up to six months in county jail. Previously, doing so was a felony with up to eight years in prison if charged and convicted....
co-sponsor and state Sen. Scott Wiener (D) said ... “The most effective way to reduce HIV infections is to destigmatize HIV, ... To make people comfortable talking about their infection, get tested, get into treatment.”
There’s NO justification for that. None. California was wrong to decriminalize knowingly infecting someone with HIV by deception. I think Joe did it federally as well. That is evil.
These advocates and Democrats are choosing to endorse deliberately sociopathic behavior in the name of “acceptance” when criminal acts of deliberate deception and transmission have nothing to do with most HIV+ people.
It’s a sexual assault that causes permanent harm even with medication that keeps the infection under control. It puts a burden on the infected by dealing with a chronic health condition requiring constant monitoring and concerns about compromised immunity.
They are being lumped in with sociopaths who make a deliberate choice to infect others through lies, deception and treachery. It is equating them with their victims or even blaming them. “Too bad, so sad,” says the activists and liberals.
There’s no room for debate here. Knowingly and deceptively infecting someone with HIV is a sexual assault that causes extreme physical and psychological stress and a lifelong burden on their health even with medication.
Joe, Gavin and the rest who support this demented, dehumanizing, depraved and deceptive view are just EVIL
They’re imprisoned for their criminal acts of deliberately and deceptively infecting others NOT for having HIV.
This course being followed by some outspoken depraved activists and their mind-numbed liberal allies are shaming and dehumanizing victims. It’s the opposite of compassion for those with HIV.
We’re long past blaming women for being raped. We go after the perpetrator for justice. These idiot politicians have no idea what effect being lied to about HIV status, being coerced or deceived into unprotected sex does to a person. I have seen the stress that brings. They don’t know such people or they themselves would lie about such things themselves or they have. It’s why they don’t care about the border and sex and human trafficking. They’re sociopaths pretending to care. They don’t really care about people. They care about getting away with things and using people in their lives.
