Prince Harry bitterly believes he was only bred to offer literal spare parts for his brother in case the heir apparent ever needed new organs.
“Two years older than me, Willy was the Heir, whereas I was the Spare,” the exiled prince wrote in explaining the title of his memoir, “Spare,” which was officially released Tuesday.
“I was the shadow, the support, the Plan B. I was brought into the world in case something happened to Willy,” he wrote of his 40-year-old brother and current heir to the throne, William.
He said he understood his role was to be a “diversion” and “distraction” from his brother — or to provide “if necessary, a spare part” to him.
“Kidney, perhaps. Blood transfusion. Speck of bone marrow,” he added in morose detail.
He also noted how his dad, now King Charles III, could never be on a plane with his eldest son, William, “because there must be no chance of the first and second in line to the throne being wiped out.”
“But no one gave a damn whom I traveled with’; the Spare could always be spared,” Harry claimed.
“This was all made explicitly clear to me from the start of life’s journey and regularly reinforced thereafter,” he claimed of his apparent throwaway standing in the family.
Harry complained that the heir and spare clarification “wasn’t merely how the press referred to us,” but was also “the shorthand used by” his royal family, including “Mummy,” the late Princess Diana, “and even Granny,” the since-deceased Queen Elizabeth II.
He says he was aged 20 when he was first told that his dad had greeted his birth by quipping: “Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an Heir and a Spare — my work is done.”

I find myself wondering if there is a connection between Meghan Markle and the Kardashians, and if Harry’s recent behavior is similar to Kanye West’s.
Additionally, I am curious if Harry may begin experimenting with cross-dressing in the future. Harry might be like Bruce next, you never know.

I don't know them (obviously) but I doubt the Royal Family is that cruel to tell Harry that. No doubt they joke about it, like any other family.
My brother had thick, curly dark chestnut hair, while the rest of us had straight, ginger hair. We always teased him "he was actually the son of the milkman." (we didn't let mom hear that)

Since he actually said it, I can unload on him. Harry, you are a dumb cluck for having let that witch talk you into marrying her. You have made an idiot of yourself doing what she tells you to.
You realize, don’t you, that you are her ticket to stardom?! Without you she would be just another woman who thinks she’s smart and attractive. She would dump you in an instant, but that would get in the way of her ambitions.
Best advice I can give you is dump her unceremoniously. Get a REAL good lawyer so she won’t clean out your bank account. It’ll be stressful, but not so much as what you’re going through now and what it’s doing to your self-esteem - what’s left of it. The royal family, being royal as they are, will eventually forgive you for your stupidity.
And here I thought he held Dianna in high regard. Apparently he thinks little of her since she would have to be complicit in such an arrangement.
Or at least get out of Hollywood. I really am starting to suspect a mass poisoning by some sort of hallucinogen.
I don’t doubt it for a second. He’s by no means the first spare to have these kind of complaints. And we know Elizabeth was big on raising her kids with “the duty” first. And that’s his duty. Assuming Charles raised his kids at all similarly to how he and his siblings were raised. They wouldn’t even know it was cruel, that’s the life they’ve known for multiple generations.
