They gave this schmuck every benefit imaginable in terms of ignoring the facts of the situation. There seems to have been significant bias on the part of the attending officer/s.
Please note that bias does not have to be conscious. Just the appearance of this person in a cruiser apparently caused the Hillsborough County officer/s to pre-judge the driver.
BTW - was the accused in possession of a firearm at the time of the offense? Naughty, naughty.
