In the fourth quarter, the Green Bay Packers player found himself being ejected after he shockingly pushed a Lions trainer who came out to help a hurt player who was on the ground.

Do you remember Chuck Hughes?
Yep.
In his mind, though, the trainer “disrespected” him by touching HIS shoulder to get him out of the way so that the trainer could get to the injured player.
OH, the HUMANITY!!!!!!
And then the OTHER thug comes up to chest bump on this little trainer guy - to STAND UP FOR and PROTECT his teammate.. his ‘brother’
This is GANG mentality. It has no place in PROFESSIONAL sports.
What really kills me is the video of the crybaby leaving the field - acting like a SIX year old who got his toy taken away from him.
Really dude? THAT is how you want the entire nation to see you???
I read about it at the time, but since there was no cable TV and the Lions were always a dawgshit team, so it was no big deal.
It might have made the local sports but not for long, no candle light vigils nor go-fund -me.
Yes, that video was absolutely humiliating. One & done....fire them....first instance. Make it clear to every player before their contract is signed. Of course that won’t happen.
For what it’s worth: I taught special needs kids forever & when they acted out they received a consequence of a time out. They all understood what consequences were. All of them.
No more suspensions, no more fines, no more anything, but booted out of football for life.
Nothing about that clip surprises me.
