Hmmm... I guess you’d have to go back to Elizabeth’s and Philip’s generation and check it out. (Isn’t Philip German or something?) From what I’ve heard, red hair skips a generation. It did in our family.
Grandpa and a couple of his siblings had red hair. None of his eight children did. Some of his grandchildren do.
