A 12-year-old in Oklahoma is in custody after she allegedly stabbed her 9-year-old brother, according to police.
The Tulsa Police Department said the stabbing happened on Thursday night around 11:43 p.m. while the children's parent was sleeping.
Police said that the parent learned about the incident when she was woken up by her 12-year-old, who told her that she stabbed her brother.

I took a look at the street view for the area. To features that stood out were the Dinero a Mexico cash transfer store and Mi Favorita Mexican restaurant. It’s kind of a sparsely populated area that is anything but an inner city.
Yes, I agree.
Only 18% of all households meet our expectation of a traditional home with the original parent units and their children. All other homes are something else.
We are a completely screwed up society and these are the consequences.

I stay somewhere between irritated, angry, frustrated, disappointed and frightened all the time.
I waste my time trying to figure out what kind of people do the things they do. No answers. These are conditions just not in my foundation of normal. I can’t relate.
A tradesman out here last week was complaining about being disadvantaged. I threw down the BS flag on that and went into a tirade. Both of my parents grew up dirt poor but were never dirty or sorry. Both made it to be somebody to be respected and successful in spite of their poverty. I’m sure he probably thinks I’m just some old guy without his problems. Don’t care. Told him to leave.

The point is not TEACHING religion (teach abt ALL religions is fine by me) but to teach MORALS. How abt do not kill (THAT includes babies). (How come woman can kill a fetus-but a person cannot kill an eagle egg? I mean isn’t an eagle egg just a clump of cells too)?
Teach each other kindness and integrity, self control.
Things like that.
I kinda wondered that myself. What was going on at 11.30 at night that these kids were awake and finding trouble.

growing up I had an adopted brother that was capable of stabbing me or worse...today he is in prison for murder and its possible he has other victims...this type of behavior does not just happen. usually there is some sort of sever abuse with the kid involved with doing violence to a sibling or other child. Predators create other Predators...I am betting that the one who stabbed the other is adopted and was traumatized at a young age or that abuse is going on in the family.
