A 12-year-old in Oklahoma is in custody after she allegedly stabbed her 9-year-old brother, according to police.
The Tulsa Police Department said the stabbing happened on Thursday night around 11:43 p.m. while the children's parent was sleeping.
Police said that the parent learned about the incident when she was woken up by her 12-year-old, who told her that she stabbed her brother.

Probably that, or some staggeringly minor issue to a normally functioning brain;
He wouldn’t give her phone back.
He took her wet laundry out of dryer, put his laundry in.
Wouldn’t leggo of alleged Eggo.
**The question is why did the 12 y/o wake her mother up after murdering her brother? She just now realized she did wrong and was overwrought?
Or did she want her Mom to know ‘I could have killed you too, but this time, I didn’t.”
Asked my relatives in OK land and the area is da hood...known for lots of problems.
Explain to me how god was in our schools...I don’t remember that and I’m old. Morals are taught by parents and society.
Thanks for the research, this will help give a general overview of the area, and allow more detailed investigation.
Thanks for the info!

Hey!
So glad Chris Plante is back tomorrow!!
When I was growing up even public schools taught and said the pledge of allegiance everyday and had prayers before eating and taught morals. There was good and evil. Right and wrong. That no longer exists. And before my time The Bible was used to teach students to read. Hymns were used for memory work.
Today you MIGHT be able to have a bible but cannot share its teachings with others. Again, Christians being silenced and censored. If it is different where you live God be praised.
So true.
“It’s a family affair”.
Who decides what religion is taught in the schools in your scenario? Would you be fine with all religions being taught? If people want their children to have religious instruction but don’t want to bother themselves with it they should send their kids to private religious school.
Me too.
I have a hard time with his sub, Opelka.
He has a voice and mind, NOT made for radio.
The Welsh language translation of the bible preceded the King James version. The Welsh used it to preserve their language in spite of heavy suppression by the English. The only day of the week they had off was Sunday. It was not only a day for worship, but a day for school...Sunday School.
That used to be a nice safe area of Tulsa fifty years ago near the Fox theater and a nice shopping center.
Then they moved in Section 8 residents and it went downhill from that.
Well, if we ban all sharp objects, problem solved?
Or maybe, if we ban all 9 and 12 year olds, problem solved?
The world would be pretty empty if all sharp objects disappeared.
But 9 & 12 year olds? Meh...
LOL.
Where I grew up the pledge of intelligence was said everyday as well. But there was no prayer before anything and there were no bible studies either. And most of us turned out fine.
I have no problem with sharing biblical teachings but I don’t think school is the appropriate place. It is up to parents to instill the correct values and it should also be the parents responsibility to teach, if they choose, biblical knowledge. Saying we should put god back in schools is not going to solve a lot of the problems as that is only a partial solution. Culture and society play a large role in today’s issues.
And if one looks back at history the Bible was very often the only printed book available to teach reading. And if you also look back at some of the curriculum taught even back in the early 1900’s and before it was much more comprehensive compared in many ways to today’s.
