My great-nephew was born in early 2020 at 23 weeks and is now doing great. There have been some major advances in treatments for premies like these. Prayers up for this little guy’s continued progress!

My granddaughter was born 15 months ago, 14 weeks premature. She weighed 17 ounces at birth. After numerous treatments and surgeries, to include a tracheostomy, we're hopeful she'll be going home in 2-3 months.

Tough little kid, my problems evaporate when I visit her. Mine are infinitesimal compared to hers. She now weighs 15-16 pounds.

I can remember when a "kilogram kid" made national news because he managed to survive.

It is wonderful how they are now able to save babies half his size.
