God I hated his haircut as a child.
LOL! I'm Rich's age and that awful pageboy haircut was what we all had back then.
Courtesy of our moms.
So did I, and I had it...
Soup-bowl cut. Don’t really recall lots of real boys except my favorite cousin did have it, maybe another of them too.
Thankfully they started going away in the ‘80s. No more long-haired guys of any age.
Then the ‘90s came and it all started again….
Then you must have loved Oliver from the Brady Bunch.
“God I hated his haircut as a child.”
I had that haircut. As an adult. On purpose. My Dorothy Hamill wedge would morph into that if not trimmed regularly.
As a guy, you look at the clothing and haircuts in the 70’s and 80’s you come to the conclusion to ignore fashion. However, if you were young had short hair during this period, you were considered a geek. I knew guys whose parents forced them to wear short hair and as soon as they were on their own wore it very long.
I had it and I’m female. Everyone thought I was a boy but my mom thought it was cute and it was easy to maintain.
