Adam Rich, best known for starring in “Eight Is Enough,” has died. He was 54.
The actor died Saturday at his Los Angeles area home, a family member confirmed to TMZ.
A cause of death has yet to be revealed but there was reportedly no foul play, a law enforcement source told the outlet, adding that Rich was found lifeless by an unidentified person who came to his residence.
Page Six has reached out to Rich’s rep for comment.
Born Oct. 12, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, Rich rose to fame in the ’70s after portraying Nicholas Bradford, the youngest son of the Bradford brood, on “Eight Is Enough.”
The ABC show, which also starred Dick Van Patten, Lani O’Grady, Connie Needham, Grant Goodeve and more, ran from 1977 to 1981.
“I think he’s why the show was a big success,” Van Patten said of his former co-star in a 2011 interview with Stephen J. Abramson for the Television Academy Foundation. “People loved him! [Fans] named a child Nicholas and everything because of him.”
He added, “He was cute, and he was a good actor. He was very natural.”
Rich’s other TV credits include “Code Red,” “Dungeons & Dragons,” “Small Wonder,” “St. Elsewhere” and “Baywatch.”

Death by Jab?
Who knows.
IIRC, he didn't have an easy life after the show ended. Like many child stars of the era, his adult life was plagued with drug abuse and career downturns.
Unfortunately most likely his own jabbing. He’d had long-standing drug abuse issues.
The life of a child star in Hollywood is too often tormenting.
I never saw the shows.
RIP, anyway.
54 is much too early.
God I hated his haircut as a child.
I’m getting so tired of this. There is NOTHING going on, this is all due to natural causes, and it’s not just among the vaccinated.
There is a long line of experts on TV prepared to say this, without any investigation.
Or even better, they just laugh in disbelief when it’s brought up.

LOL! I'm Rich's age and that awful pageboy haircut was what we all had back then.
Courtesy of our moms.
So did I, and I had it...
For some bizarre reason mothers LOVED that hair for their boys. I’ve seen it recently as well.

I see now that two of the girls on the show had substance abuse problems. One died and one was destitute. Willy Aames, who did sort of have a career after the show, "has battled alcohol addiction in his life."
In general, I assume we’re being lied to.
Seems to be a trend this morning - deaths of young people..
Unfortunately, given his history, this was likely the accumulated result of a lot of other substances besides the clot shot being put into his body.
Totally. I have some scary school photos with that hair cut and big glasses and the nineteen-seventies rugby shirts.
Something tells me Adam was a lefty. Right-wingers don’t refer to their freedoms as FreeDUMB’s.
