A Georgia man was arrested on a fugitive warrant after facial recognition technology mistakenly linked him to the theft of luxurious purses in a state he’d not been to.

Randall Reid, 28, was arrested in DeKalb County, Georgia after law enforcement officials followed their facial recognition technology matches, which ended up being wrong.

“They told me I had a warrant out of Jefferson Parish. I said, ‘What is Jefferson Parish?'” Reid said.

I don’t think he will even get more than a possible apology. Courts don’t care
= = =

They will apologize to the intended person. And he will get any reward.

The Innocent Man was after all, the wrong man.

The was a cyclist who spent 12 days in jail. He was implicated in an assault on a bike path. They tracked him down using a bike app that keeps track of your rides. He was at the exact place at the exact time. It took them a while before they realized it was the wrong day. So, who do you sue for that?

Some don’t realize that the poor and minorities are plagued with the mis-use of police power, in my experience.

The result is the youth react: If I am going to be blamed for it anyway, I might as well do it.

This especially applies to sex crimes and economic crimes.

I had my BofA debit card recently blocked when I was trying to buy groceries. The bank help person I talked with did not say exactly why other then what was stated at the bank site of suspicious activity.

I think it was the recent online purchase of the anti-virus software I now use. They use some 3rd party to process orders... In the future it could be me posting at websites or a neighbor reporting you.

Now with the democrats wanting to install kill switches in our cars. ‘Smart’ meters to turn up or down your thermostat remotely. Plus as Canada has shown at the urging of the democrats here in the USA, they will block your bank accounts at any sign of us protesting.

Now facial recognition was used for the Jan 6 peaceful protestors yet the FBI cannot track a BOMBER from camera to camera that we know was a FBI agent.

All this will be used against Americans.
