Hot Dogs. Meh.
No matter how you dress them up, they are still tasteless mystery meat by-products
I guess the only good thing about hot dogs are the pickles, onions, mustard, relish, etc. that you add to it.
Hot dogs and American cheese are two of my pet peeves. The world makes ten thousand types of sausages and cheeses, but somehow we Americans get stuck with the blandest, most soulless versions of each. Even the "best" hot dogs don't compare to a nice bratwurst.
Bulls**t! They are the tastiest puréed lips 'n @ss you'll ever eat.
My favorites used to be Grote & Wiegel. On a cheap - the cheaper the better - New England style roll with mustard AAAANNND ketchup. (eff you, Chicago)
