So... she doesn’t like young men in rough and tumble competitive sport with other young men, and enjoying pushing their limits.

She wants a society of beta males. Quiet. Unassertive. No motivation to excel. Followers, not leaders.

What a sad sad society that would be. Fortunately I have 2x sons and 6x nephews who are rough and rowdy and happily cutting their own path in life, on their own terms. Pretty sure she’d hate them. That makes me smile.

With some google, out of 4.2 million participants there were 4 deaths caused by direct injury with all ages of football in 2021. There were another 13 from related injury (heat exhaustion, heart issues, etc.) You put your kid in greater danger transporting them in a car than putting them in tackle football.
