MONROE, La. (KNOE/Gray News) - Police arrested a clerk at a Louisiana Dollar General and charged him with manslaughter after they said he shot at an armed robber.
The Monroe Police Department said officers responded to the Dollar General store Monday for a shooting.
An armed robbery reportedly took place, and the store clerk shot at the suspect. KNOE reports the suspect and another customer were shot

That right there is why I have self-defense insurance, and it’s why I have a plan that connects me right to a lawyer, no call center or operator. Law enforcement can supboena the records of the call center and screw you over that way.
Typically bad journalism that fails to list critical details of the incident.
But have they ever charged a cop for hitting an innocent bystander?
Definitely take this to a jury.

In Louisiana it’s called “doin’ bidness as use’wal, sha”. (Translation: Doing business as usual, Chere.) They have have never understood any other way. Favorite Governor was Huey P. Long. Lots of gaps in this story. If indeed he sent the thug to a better place as stated he walks if I’m on the jury. Still lots of unknowns in this one.
