Are they gonna party like it’s 1899?.....................
I watched until next to last episode but became so irritated at the one Candlepower set lighting I lost what small interest kept me going and no longer cared what weak climax or reveal might have been concocted.
Of course, doing this, I'm sure, impacts the ratings.
Yes, the show was stylish but ultimately hollow. The reveal at the end just meant that nothing we had watched in the previous episodes really mattered at all. “Dark” was a much better series.
My husband and I tried to watch it, but it was too weird. Not into stylish and characters who are unlikable.
I thought Dark was great. Did not watch 1899.
‘Wednesday’ on Netflix is pretty good
I’m convinced that the reason Netflix is still solvent is because most of its subscribers keep forgetting to cancel their subscriptions. Has there ever been an entertainment organization of any kind that has fielded half as many bad shows that nobody wants to watch?
She wasn’t evil enough for my taste...
“This is why I generally won’t jump on a new show until there’s a few seasons in the can.”
Yes, I think that is a good test.
I could save a lot of money by not watching college football. I think a sports package (only) could be offered for less than the current sports etc. packages. In my case, an SEC channel, or Alabama channel would be sufficient.
We used to have the Netflix DVD plan, but dumped it a couple years ago. We don’t subscribe to any Netflix product or program anymore; thus, I have no idea what these shows are all about.

I think you are probably right.
Wednesday shows why Disney just freaking sucks. Wednesday herself is likable, interesting, a worthy star of the show. Then watch Willow on Disney—the female lead is a hateful, irrational, completely worthless show lead. I hated her within 5 minutes, after watching her potentially murder an innocent person with a bow and arrow because she was mad at her mother.
Tried, basically quit after 2 episodes. I deemed it strange and poorly done/unwatchable.
Gosh, I should introduce you to my ex-wives - should more than take care of your needs for evil.
I gave 1899 a thumbs up...but remember thinking I could just as soon of given it a thumbs down. A really strange series. I’m ok with no Season 2.
Dark was so convoluted and turned back on itself so much...I had to force myself to finish the series.
I only got through two episodes. I got bored. Bad writing, bad lighting, no likable characters.
It will be on Amazon for season two.
No more 1899? So does this mean we’ll never know what went on between 1883 and 1923? LOL (it’s a lame reference to Yellowstone prequels)
