The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

LOL, you are right about that. But I did get a kick of the expressions on the faces of the donkey and rhino, especially the rhino’s arrogant snicker, which is so typical of them.
