“Our research suggests even one muscle contraction a day, for five days a week, can improve muscle strength if you keep it up for a month.”
I can’t think of any jokes right now but others may have some. Bookmarked.

"Is five minutes of exercise a day enough? "It's certainly better than NO exercise a day. When I started exercising, some 35 odd years ago, badly overweight and unfit, I could barely make a 5-minute walk. But that's how I started. After just a few days, I felt a whole lot better, and started increasing it. Now some 35 years and -75 pounds later, I get a good cardio workout every day. It makes me feel good, really-really good.

This is very good advice. I started exercising with weights, 10 reps, then one month later 15, then 20. Do 20 reps of 2 exercises - one like swinging an axe, and then a roller for my abs. Now do each 20 times, takes 3 minutes a morning before my walk. 65 years old flat stomach, ripped shoulders.

Your weight loss goals should be set low. Figure 5 lbs for the first month and increase it each month afterwards.
The weight doesn’t come off all at once. Start out easy and slowly increase the intensity each week.

Twitter flames TIME article for calling exercise racist: ‘So goofy I consider it satire’ (recent Fox article)

Just order a pizza and watch a tape on exercising. That’ll lower your standards.
