The shoulder of #85 of Cincinnati was the lead point of impact into the left chest of #3, the player who subsequently dropped. The earlier post from another freezer looks very likely.

"Commotio cordis. Rare, but we’ll known phenomenon".

That is afib from a sudden blow to the heart muscle.

Blows to see he center of the chest are very much known to cause changes in heart rhythm That is why you seethe precordial thump used at the start of cpr if no defibrillator is available. i have seen it work. i’m somewhat surprised there was not an AED brought on the field. Bet there will be one on the sidelines after this though the EMTs should have a defibrillator in their rig

“ Blows to the center of the chest (football, hockey, lacrosse) are know to cause life threatening arrhythmia. Get over yourself.”

Sorry, but it’s my FIRST time witnessing one of those ‘blows’ killing somebody.
And I see them 100s of times a weekend

Bills player applied the hit! That’s what defensive players do.

Thank-you. I have personal knowledge of similar tragic situations long before the Covid Jab. The key element is a sudden blow to the chest that sets the heat into arrhythmia. Rare, but deadly.

Rare, but I seen them since the 1906s.

I’ve played lots of sports. football included, in fact I have a messed up leg because of it, but death by a hit like that never.
It is the silly assed conformity to the Democrat mandated de-population shot that are responsible.
Ever listen to Bill Gates?
Y’all want to die, conform.

There are also hereditary conduction disturbances that make someone much more vulnerable to this situation. They are asymptomatic and difficult to detect on routine EKG (like Brugada syndrome, prooonged QT syndrome etc)

Multiple deaths from cardiac arrest (commotio cordis) in HS football every year.

Here's a paper that reviews 243 deaths in high school athletes, mostly football, from 1990-2013.

Here's a review of cardiac arrest after blunt force trauma to the chest (commotio cordis), which has been well known and well understood for many years.

It’s not afib (atrial fibrillation) but vfib (venticular fibrillation), the most common cause of sudden death in athletes.

It looked like one of the more mild collisions of the year.

I was watching live when it happened

I don’t think you can hide this. As I said on the other thread, we don’t know what happened - aortic aneurysm, unknown heart defect (hard to believe for an NFL player today), bruised heart, vaccine, or some other strange thing.

At this point any of these are valid hypotheses.

Given all of this crazy “died suddenly” stuff with young people I would hope that the NFL will screen all of their players for abnormal clots or myocarditis given that they mandated the vaccines.

The military needs to do the same thing. Just my .02 and nobody is disputing that these shots can cause myocarditis and lots of evidence that they can also cause clotting.

Prayers for this young man and his family.
