I sold stereo equipment in the later 70’s and several of their songs were favorites for demonstrations. Wonderful voices.

With Anita Pointer's death, Ruth Pointer remains the last surviving founding member of the group. I guess so. I always thought there were three of them, but apparently, sometimes there were four.

They had good pop songs that anyone could enjoy, as was the case with much of the pop music of that era. It seems almost quaint nowadays.

I saw them with the Boston Pops one July 4th Esplanade Concert many years ago.
