Fontanini is great. We had a smaller set which was discontinued, the 4 1/2" set, unpainted. We kept our larger porcelain set. I added some things to the manger, plants, rocks, and this year some fontanini water jugs. We put the stable out first then add the shepherds and animals and when it gets closer the figures. The 3 kings come last. We observe orthodox Christmas so it stays out until the 10th at least.
Pretty! Wish mine was ceramic - it’s plastic, but gets the job done. :) Mine was up until the 10th this year - easily, LOL!
