I don’t disagree with your thought but if these attacks were carried out with US weapons there will be hell to pay. HIMARS to attack troop concentrations , arty batteries, or transport centers are acceptable, but I think Putin in his insanity will see this, if it was done by long range weapons, as an escalation that threatens the Rodina. After that...who knows.??

Another escalation is coming. Probably tactical nuclear strike by Russia on strategic location. If Ukraine launches another attack on Russian cities after that it will be Kyiv next I fear hit by a tactical nuclear warhead.
