I never got the vax and I was horribly ill with Covid two years ago...weeks and weeks in bed, vomiting, coughing, sweating profusely, couldn’t stand up to walk to the bathroom, I had to crawl to get there. Friends and family brought me food but I could barely eat.
Thank God I made it...but it was pretty bad.
Now I’m sick with flu/bronchitis/rsv, on my fifth week of being horribly sick.
Oh well...this, too, shall pass!

The points I was trying to make, in a short:
1. Not all vaccines are the same.
Some work, some sort of work. Some have a lot of side effects, some few. Some last a long time, some have a short duration...
Example: I have had the Anthrax vaccine, it has more side effects and lasts a short time.
2. Not all diseases are the same.
Some diseases affect certain groups more. Some you can vaccinate even after exposure realistically. Some diseases are simply not that bad if you’re in good health (I just deal with the flu if I get it - 1 week and I’m fine). some don’t spread that easily...
Example: Anthrax can be deadly, but it does not spread easily to people, realistically.
3. Not all people are the same.
Based on age, race, sex, sexual orientation and practices, travels, occupation, ethnicity, BMI, pre existing conditions, certain diseases pose a greater or lesser threat to people.
Example: I was in the DoD at the time and N. Korea is known to have stockpiles of Anthrax that has been weaponized. So for me specifically, it may have made sense at the time. It may also make sense for some veterinarians and people sheering wool.
4. Herd immunity is a real thing.
But that can be attained naturally (that is what happened for millennia before we were able to diagnose all these diseases or even had vaccines). Today this argument is used to justify vaccine mandates and vast government programs.
Big pharma has been trying to push for all sorts of mandates for a long time, example: public schools.
***Using the false argument of herd immunity (not true with Covid and this vaccine), we are trying to argue that a “one size fits all shoe” is the best fit for everyone.***
It didn’t pan out. It didn’t work even with their 5th booster, privacy right violations, coercion and mandates and billions upon billions spent. It didn’t work even with them taking short cuts in safety protocols for testing, using faster but less well known mRNA technology. But meanwhile we are STILL being told the lie and spending more on this BS.
Never mind the damage done to people and businesses, no one in government or big pharma will ever stand trial or suffer any sort of repercussions for this.
***But at a minimum people should take note and question what they are being told when this happens again.***
If herd immunity isn’t an argument, then what is regards the mandates?
Herd immunity is the key argument that rationalizes the violations of peoples privacy, federal employee mandates the push (advertising etc) of vaccines for all (including children that are not really at risk from this disease).
But if the vaccine came late, there are many strains and the virus is mutating to rapidly and we’re just really chasing the ball, if the vaccine isn’t really improving much for those that are getting vaccinated (i.e. many still get sick and die with Covid), then what is the purpose? What is the argument for this “requirement” to be vaccinated? It’s not herd immunity.
***That said, this entire debate turns into an issue of individual choice. Cost/risk vs benefit from an individual perspective.***
