Thanks for the clarification.
In Colorado you can carry inside a bar. You cannot drink alcohol if armed.
Normally carrying is allowed in places that serve food even if they serve alcohol. You just cannot drink while cart carrying.
The scenario that comes to my mind is your in a bar, your carrying but not drinking and a couple of dudes walk in wearing masks and waving around shotguns wanting to rob everyone and threatening to shoot anyone who doesn’t cooperate......then what?
If you act and are fortunate enough to put a stop to it your breaking the law.
I guess the old saying “better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 applies in that case.
It was an obvious case of self-defense. This Adam Amoia started hitting the guy HARD, and then pursued him down the street to hit him some more. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
“How do you get in a bar fight before drinking”. Well, say you’re on your way home from work after a long hot summer day, and you’ve worked up a powerful thrist. You know your wife is home cooking your dinner, so you stop in a bar along the way to buy a six pack to go. As you walk up to the bar, a drunken beligerent punk at the bar starts insulting you for no reason, jumps up and slugs you. You tell his buddies and the bartender to get him under control but no one does. He then grabs a pool cue and swings it at your head, barely missing. You try backing away but he continues his attack, now being egged on by his buddies. Situations like this unfortunately happen once in a while.
You are generally correct, states do not allow concealed carry in bars. But there are exceptions. For example, as retired law enforcement I am exempt from my states “prohibited places” CCW provisions. But after a 25 year career as a cop, I never carry when I’m drinking. I drink, or I carry but I never do both at the same time.

"Mr. Casado would have been perfectly justified in using any other reasonable force to repel the force that was being used against him but not pulling out a gun shooting Adam Amoia as many times as he did," Prosecutor Lying Lump Of Dog Squeeze Mark Johnson told the judge.
fixed it
Not much of a prosecutor of he doesn’t know the Florida SYG law any better than that.
It clearly states fear of bodily harm justifies use of deadly force.
Do the same thing to him, and he’d have his carry piece out so fast it would make your head swim...
No doubt
I got into a bar fight once, and I wasn’t drinking. Guy thought I stole his coat and took a swing at me when I wouldn’t give him mine. He failed to contact and fell into the table, nearly knocking himself out and bleeding all over the place. Great big strong guy almost killed himself.
The link works fine.
Good afternoon.
