One more symptom of the problems caused by Washington policies.
Down 0.22%. That’s a fairly mild day. If the drop had been 2.2%, that would have been a bit more newsworthy.
Wait until one year from now…
US heading down into a recession soon.
And the Dem voters (with help from fraudsters) got us the Dem controlled US Senate and many local Dem victories.
Example is Michigan which went from GOP majority state House and Senate to new Dem control of both houses. And horrendous all-out abortion rights with no questions asked, guaranteed by the Michigan Constitution as of 2023.
Gluttons for OUR punishment.
I’m technically 3 months out from retirement except for the tanking of the market by president Jotatato and his handlers. I may never get to retire now.
Penalties on corporate stock buybacks per the Inflation Reduction Act. And new taxes on natural gas, crude oil and coal.
I was up .02% today and I’ll take it. Bye 2022, bring on 23!
And my 401K down tens of thousands.
You suck, I hope you get wiped out and end up working at Walmart cleaning toilets.
I hope your old lady leaves you for a Mexican dope dealer.
What the hell is wrong with you posting stuff like this?
Yeah, Brandon should really be going by then.
“I was up .02% today...”
At that rate, you’ll double your money in...
:)
I’m predicting a global depression, but I’m not an educated investor.
BWAHAHAHAhahahaahahheeheeheeheeheee...
50 points to the House of Cook for rousing the raging curmudgeon! Hadn’t seen it for a while.
I remember my dad coming home from work (Surveyor), having dinner and leaving for night school to get his P.E. I’m sure that method is out of style now.
Off your meds Humble? It’s a vanity.
Why so serious? It’s not like he pimped his blog...
Did I miss something?
I just don't like him.
Aren't there people that you just don't like?
Herr Doktor Kook is one that I don't.
“I’m predicting a global depression, but I’m not an educated investor.”
I think we’ll do better than the rest of the world, as usual. This recession looks more like ‘69-’70. Bond Market and then the Stock Market do the predicting. If people were more willing to do something productive with themselves we’d see a fabulous Boom start later in ‘23.
Another interesting tidbit:
“Between 1900 and 1928 there was a recession every 1 year and 10 months. Between 1929 and 1949 there was a recession every 3 years and 8 months. Since 1950 there has been a recession every 5 years and 9 months.”
Each has been called the End Of the World.
“Each has been called the End of the World.”
So you’re saying we’re all dead…
You know there are black swans still out there.
Argumentum Ad Ignorantiam.
Between 1900 and 1928 there was a recession every 1 year and 10 months. Between 1929 and 1949 there was a recession every 3 years and 8 months. Since 1950 there has been a recession every 5 years and 9 months.”
Each has been called the End Of the World.
**************
Yet the world didn’t end.
The economy recovered each time and started chugging along.......... “Cha-Ching.”
