Interesting, that's the same plan for a huge mall near my house.
Probably owned by the same Corporation as ours.
Our mall has already lost one ‘wing’ to a condo development.
The others wings are just waiting until the few remaining leases are up.............
When a huge mall closed in our area (the surrounding neighborhood went into the toilet) I thought it could be re-purposed as a prison.
People from the surrounding area could check in, spend several nights there, and credit the time served to their future criminal convictions.
The large mall near me is still packed with stores. But they did tear down the Sears anchor store. It’s now out parcels with restaurants and stores like H&M and Ulta.
