I think she appropriated the name to,benefit her somehow. Her real,name is Caryn Elaine Johnson (different spelling for karen). She evidently has no Jewish ancestry, and has evidently never co nvetted to Judaism.
She claims that she “has a pretty good relationship with god” and that she “talks often” with God, but doesn’t seem to,care a Wit about God’s word evidently.
I can’t remember now why she changed her name, but it was to benefit her career somehow-
