Who watches the watchers?
The FBI on Wednesday finally broke its silence and responded to the revelations on Twitter of close ties between the bureau and the social media giant—ties that included efforts to suppress information and censor political speech.
“The correspondence between the FBI and Twitter show nothing more than examples of our traditional, longstanding and ongoing federal government and private sector engagements, which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries,” the bureau said in a statement. “As evidenced in the correspondence, the FBI provides critical information to the private sector in an effort to allow them to protect themselves and their customers. The men and women of the FBI work every day to protect the American public. It is unfortunate that conspiracy theorists and others are feeding the American public misinformation with the sole purpose of attempting to discredit the agency.”
Almost all of the FBI communique is untrue, except the phrase about the bureau’s “engagements which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries.”
Future disclosures will no doubt reveal similar FBI subcontracting with other social media concerns of Silicon Valley to stifle free expression and news deemed problematic to the FBI’s agenda.
The FBI did not merely engage in “correspondence” with Twitter to protect the company and its “customers.” Instead, it effectively hired Twitter to suppress the free expression of some of its users, as well as news stories deemed unhelpful to the Biden campaign and administration—to the degree that the bureau’s requests sometimes even exceeded those of Twitter’s own left-wing censors.
The FBI did not wish to help Twitter “to protect themselves [sic],” given the bureau’s Twitter liaisons were often surprised at the FBI’s bold requests to suppress the expression of those who had not violated Twitter’s own admittedly biased “terms of service” and...

No kidding.
We are left with the dilemma of Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? Who watches the watchers?
Excellent article, and a deft choice of Latin for us to brush up on for the new year.

The FBI (American Satsi) is just another example of the United States current Post Constitutional government.
If this is not corrected and soon, it will become the norm and the Republic goes the way of all prior republics. If it is not already too late.
Defend the Constitution.
“The next two years are dangerous times for the FBI—and the country. The House will soon likely begin investigations of the agency’s improper behavior. Yet, simultaneously, the Biden Justice Department will escalate its use of the bureau as a partisan investigative service for political purposes.”
Actually, I don’t think the next two years will be “dangerous,” but, more likely, very “busy” for the FBI. They’ll be busy fending off/ignoring the Republican House investigations, while at the same time, ramping up their behind the scenes political activities for the Democrats.
They have proven now that they have no fear of being found out. They know whatever is uncovered by the Republicans can be denied, obfuscated and stone-walled. It will likely take more than two years to “locate” and turn over any information to investigators. And they know that whatever is uncovered will head straight to the DOJ’s massive shredder - with the help of the MSM.
Two years is all they need. Cake walk for them . . .
They won’t clean toilets, and they won’t rake leaves.
Their activities fall squarely within the definition of treason. We have laws against that stuff.
Don’t we?
I think we're going to need a new pair of boots....
This would take some researching, but I would guess they have a pretty high conviction rate outside DC as well
Just a couple three reasons I can think of (and I’m sure there would be more):
1. Most (if not all) the Federal Court House are in heavy blue cities throughout the country, making juries more likely blue leaning. Many of the Federal Courts have Republican appointed Judges, but we’ve seen that usually doesn’t make a difference.
2. The FBI now has a proven track record of pursing cases against conservatives while dropping cases against liberals (just look at the list of liberals who were never indicted or prosecuted!).
3. The FBI also has a now proven record of fabricating evidence (specifically against conservatives) and ignoring exculpatory evidence (again, against conservatives). The FBI has also been proven to suppress or destroy evidence which would likely lead to convictions of liberals/Democrats.
Sadly, with the control the liberals/socialists/Democrats (redundant, I know), this corruption is pervasive throughout the country and there is likely NOTHING that can be done about it.
And now they’ll have another 87,000 IRS personnel, some of them armed, to increase the their abilities to target conservatives. Can you say “Lois Lerner?”
Since the rules are different legally what can be done with anyone considered to be a “domestic terrorist,” watch and see how many of us get that moniker. And that will keep the alphabet agencies plenty busy, bringing all those cases to all those Federal Courts . . .
I put nothing past them. Watch as they assassinate Trump and Biden to put their own person in the White House “Freely elected” FBI Hack. They are the new KGB. Things have gotten so bad why would anyone wish to be a Cop? Join the Military, or support what was once a great Democracy. Its is, at best, an Oligarchy and at worst a Single Party tyranny. Maybe we need to lose WW III and take a big dose of humiliations. Our arrogance has not been that good for the world. Our idealism has been turned against us as a club.
I suspect that might be part of the plan to replace we deplorable bitter clingers with amnestied illegals.

We already have Sharia pseudo-police rolling in Muslim enclaves and a few Chinese "precincts" no one seems to have approved.
Seriously though, Mr. Hanson makes it clear that the FBI has to be harshly dealt with now that they regularly dismiss their sworn obligations for the sake of partisan politics. But they're just following the lead of the far larger contamination - the entrenched Beltway bureaucracy. The whole system needs to be distributed all around the "fly-over country" it currently feels superior to. After super downsizing most of it.
The discredit themselves every day. Whiney little birches.
It’s 100% corrupt. ALL OF THEM! !
Shove it Hannity.
