Clearly they are not appointed as a mark of confidence in their leadership and ability to dramatically enhance the institution they serve. The justification for their appointment is racial and sexual diversity, not quality of character. They curse the name of Dr. King with every appointment.
When we examining the character and philosophy of the black women who are appointed, it is Republicans who search for quality of character, of intellect, and of philosophy. Democrat appointments, not so much.
Not so much that Jackson was set up to fail as that she is a failure who was set up.
