Recently, a thread headline appeared here in BOLD CHARACTERS—absolutely unprecedented in my experience. I would like the option of similarly enhancing part of the titles of my daily Bible-art threads.

After inquiring of that poster, I am informed—cryptically—that the secret lies in UNICODE HIGH-ORDER CHARACTERS. Knowing nothing about computer coding, I searched the internet on this subject and very quickly was completely out of my depth.

QUESTION: How can I embolden article titles, using Unicode or other means?

I’m not sure what you mean. For me, all article titles come through as bold...

No, it was another, from twelve days ago. But the same unique ability is present, in this instance an unusual font. I’m trying to learn the secret.

If it’s just a particular font, there should be html for using unusual fonts; if so, I’m sure someone here knows it.

I do. I discovered the technique. I’m not making it easy for everyone to do this, though, lest every headline look ‘unique’.

Neither. It's a special case: the thread title box on FR.

When posting a new thread, one enters the thread's title in the designated box. I'm trying to force a new font into it, as someone else has done.

I respect your caution. Your goal is laudable.

Are you willing to give another useful hint, with the promise that I, too, will keep it confidential if I'm able to derive it? I should add that my intent is to use it very modestly, thus not drawing undue attention. For example, my titles would look like this:

The Bible In Paintings: JESUS CALMS THE STORM

I simply want to emphasize each day's topic by making it doubly-bold.
